Rabbit Pasteurellosis Vaccine:

DISCRIPTION:
Inactivated formalized vaccine prepared from pasteurella multocida serotypes A:1, A:3, A:12, and D:2 Used for active imnunization of rabbits against pasteurellosis .
One ml. contains 109 colony forming unit.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE :
Dose : 1/2 ml for rabbits 2 months age .
1 ml for rabbits more than 4 months age .

ROUTE OF ADMINTRATION :
The vaccine is injected subcutenously in the inner side of the
thigh
|

VACCINATION PROGRAMME :
* Primary vaccination ( 1/2 ml ) at 2 months of age and
revaccinate with the same dose 6-8 weeks later .
* Booster vaccination ( 1 ml ) at 6 months of age and revaccinate
with the same dose 6-8 weeks later .

REMARKS :
* Shake the vaccine vigorously before and during use to ensure
good mixing.
* Bring the vaccine to room temperature before use.
* Rabbits to be vaccinated should be in good health and not
suffering from any disease at time of vaccination.
* Ensure that vaccination equipments kept clean and sterilized
before and during use.
* Part used vaccine bottles should be carefully condemned at end
of each operation day as under field conditions it may be
difficult to avoid accidental contamination of the vaccine.
* Rabbits should not be slaughtered before 4 weeks after last
vaccination day.

PRECAUTION :
Avoid intramuscular injection of vaccine.

STORAGE :
Store in refrigerator at 4-8 oC – Protect from light. Do not freeze.

Two year from time of manufacture.
