Inactivated Oil Adjuvant Brucella Melitensis Strain REV. 1 Vaccine

COMPOSITION :
Each 1 ml. of the vaccine contains 10x 1010 inactivated CFU of Brucella Melitensis Strain Rev.1 .

INDICATIONS AND DOSAGE :
1- Let the vaccine to reach the room temperature.
2- Shake well before use.
3- The injection should be given subcutaneously after
disinfection with alcohol with the following dosages:
* Sheep and goats : 2 ml behind the elbow.
* Cattles and buffaloes : 3 ml under the fine skin inside the
thigh.
4- Two doses 6-12 weeks apart are required and revaccination annually with one dose should be applied.
5- The vaccine could be used safely for sheep, goats, cattles and
buffaloes at any age, male or female regardless of the state of
pregnancy or lactation.
ADVERSE REACTIONS :
A local swelling occur at the side of injection disappear
after 1-2 weeks.

PRECAUTIONS :
1- Sterilized syringes should be used for vaccination.
2- Avoid the contamination of the vaccine during using.
3- Vaccinate healthy animals only.
4- Part used bottles of the vaccine and syringes should be condemned hygienically after use.

STORAGE AND EXPIRATION DATE :
It is valid for two years from the manufacture date when it is stored at 4-8oC.

PACKAGE :
Vials 100 ml contain 50 sheep and goat's doses or 33 cattle's and buffaloe's doses.
