Oily vaccine prepared from African horse sickness virus
( type 4 and type 9 ) and inactivated by binary ethylenamine and adjuvated with a mixture of oils.

COMPOSITION:
Each dose contains at least 106 TCID 50/ml. from each type.
|
|
|

PROPAGATION SYSTEM:
Green Monkey Kidney cell line ( VERO ).
|

INDICATIONS:
* The vaccine is used for immunization of equines against
African horse sickness diseases.
* It is advised to be given before breeding season of insects.
|

CONTRAINDICATION:
Do not vaccinated sick animals.
|
|
|
|
| |
| |
DOSAGE:
Inject 5ml. of vaccine subcutaneously ( s/c) in the lower part of neck or intramuscularly ( I/M ) followed by a second dose after 4 weeks.
* Pregnant mares can be vaccinated up to 6 months.
* Fools born from immune mares are vaccinated at age of
6 months.
* Fools born from non – immune mare are vaccinated at age of
3- 4 months.

REMARKS:
* Shake bottle of vaccine well before and during use.
* Do not use remaining vaccine after use.
* Keep vaccine away from direct sunlight and heat.
* Do not freeze the vaccine.

STORAGE:
The vaccine stored at 4-8 ˚C for 6 months.
