Inactivated Tissue
Culture Rabies Vaccine (for animals):

COMPOSITION:
Each vial of the vaccine contains 2 ml. of the tissue culture adapted rabies virus grown on B.H.K21 cells (80%) inactivated with binary ethylenamine at a final concentration of 1% and to which alhydragel is added as adjuvant (20%).

USAGE:
This vaccine can be used for both adult and young animals over 3 months of age (if they born from immune dams).

METHOD OF USE:
It could be injected either intramuscularly or subcutaneously. The vaccine is used for all ages of animals. Re vaccination should be then annually.

PROGRAMS OF VACCINATION:
* Prophylactic vaccine:
The vaccine could be injected either intramusculony or
subcutaneously for Animal and the vaccination is repeated
annually according to theses doses.
* Dogs and cats : 2 cm.
* Sheep and goats : 3 cm.
* Cattle and buffalos : 4-5 according to animal size.
* Camels : 4-6 cm according to animal size.
* Equines : Donkey 4 cm
* Horses and mules 5 cm.
* Emergency vaccination :
In case of biting, the animal is injected 5 successive dose
weekly from the time of biting.

PACKAGE:
The vaccine is supplied in vials in a liquid form of 2 volumes (2 and 24 ml).

STORAGE:
The vaccine should be stored at 4-8oC in the refrigerator for one year from the date of production.

EXPIRY DATE:
One year from date of production.

PRECAUTIONS:
1- The vaccine should be protected from heat and direct sunlight.
2- The vaccine contents should not be frozen.
3- Avoid vaccination of animals during treatment with corticosteroids and other immune suppressive drugs.
4- Do not vaccinate weak and sick animals.
5- The vaccine is safe for pregnant animals.
6- Empty used vials should be hygienically destroyed.
