COMPOSITION:
Each ml contains 0.5 mg. of PPD ( 2500 units ). The product is Standardized according to Weybridge Reference Laboratory , England.

PACKAGE:
Vials containing 2 or 5 ml of PPD tuberculin .The colour
is faint pink transparent solution.

INDICATIONS:
- For the diagnosis of tuberculosis in birds by the single
intradermal tuberculin test.
- For the diagnosis of non-specific reactions in animals
by the single intradermal comparative test.

DOSE:
- For Birds:
1) A dose of 0.1 ml I/D in :
- wattle & Comb or ears in chickens.
- Skin of the neck in pigeons .
- Web between fingers in ducks & geese.
2) A dose of 0.2 ml I/D in the wing web of turkeys.
B) For Animals:
-
0.1 ml I/D in the skin of the neck.

REMARKS:
- The best results will be obtained by reading 48 & 72
hours post injection in birds & animals respectively.
- Retesting may be performed not less than 30 and 60 days
after the last injection of tuberculin in birds & animals
respectively.
- Empty and unused open vials must be disposed
hygienically.
- The product should be protected from direct sunlight
and kept cool.
